HAP (High Acuity Patient) Division

The Quality Dialysis High Acuity Patient Division (HAP) was created to facilitate out-patient dialysis services for individuals diagnosed with serious illness, injury and high comorbid conditions. This patient population requires long-term (subacute) care that is administered by licensed and highly trained dialysis nurses under the supervision of licensed board-certified Nephrologists.  In many cases, the patient’s primary caregiver is either a spouse, child, or sibling and there are no resources for additional help. Staff-assisted In-home dialysis support is an invaluable treatment option for the chronically ill.
